 With more than 25 years of experience as a Chartered Accountant, David’s proactive and courteous approach has rewarded him with a diverse group of clients in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, retail, high-tech and construction, as well as many not-for-profit organizations. David can be trusted to provide his clients with superior, up-to-date expertise with respect to traditional accounting and audit requirements, as well as personal and corporate tax planning and compliance, and business advisory services. David has volunteered professional time to the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario since 1989 and is presently a member of the ICAO’s Professional Conduct Committee. Also on a volunteer basis, David can be seen throughout the community on many speaking engagements and providing business expertise to new businesses through the Ottawa Entrepreneurship Centre.

As a Chartered Accountant for more than 25 years, Gary’s in-depth knowledge of and involvement in owner/manager businesses of varying sizes and complexities have allowed him to gain unique insight in order to provide his clients with a wide range of services, including corporate taxation, Canadian and U.S. personal taxation, estate and succession planning, expense and profitability analysis, human resources-related issues, strategic management, cash flow management and growth strategies, and business advisory services. Gary is active in the Ottawa Community, having served with the Kiwanis Club of Rideau (Ottawa), the Ottawa-Carleton Board of Trade, Canadian Mothercraft and the Ottawa Civic Hospital. He is currently Treasurer of The Glebe Centre for long-term care and serves on the Board of Directors of The Hillel Lodge Foundation.

 Denis joined Logan Katz LLP in 1994 and is an integral member of the firm. Denis’ commitment to excellence is second-to-none and his clients can be assured of his ability to provide guidance and first-class personalized services with respect to accounting and audit requirements. Having obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 1990, Denis acquired international experience during a work term in France, and has gained extensive experience with many construction companies and not-for-profit organizations throughout his career. Clients can also find Denis available to assist them with respect to human resources-related matters and, specifically, with recruiting strategies and direction.  Having been in public accounting since 1997, Jason’s career as a Chartered Accountant brings with it a wealth of hands-on experience with respect to taxation and accounting services to small and medium-sized entities across many industries. Jason joined Logan Katz LLP in 2002 and has provided the firm’s corporate and individual clients with uncompromising guidance and advisory services with respect to tax planning needs. He has completed the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants in-depth tax program and is the firm’s resident expert in processing claims for Scientific Research and Development Investment Tax Credits.

 Having achieved her Chartered Accountant designation in 2001, Brenda joined Logan Katz LLP in 2005, bringing with her top-quality experience in all areas of public accounting, including assurance, business advisory and corporate and personal taxation. Brenda’s focused and perceptive approach has proven to be an invaluable resource with respect to the firm’s not-for-profit, owner/manager and individual clients alike.

 Brigitte has been in public accounting practice since 1989 and became a Chartered Accountant in 1991. After four years with an international accounting firm, she set up and successfully operated her own small business and family enterprise accounting practice for more than 14 years. She therefore has a wealth of experience in delivering personalized, courteous and value-added services to small businesses and has gained a sound understanding of what owner/managers expect from their accountant. In addition to being a key member of the Logan Katz Executive and Leadership Team, she is also an owner/manager herself as she owns and operates an enterprise in Eastern Ontario. She founded the Regroupement des Gens d’Affaires d’Alfred-Plantagenet, served on its executive for four years, and remains an active member. Anjali Dilawri, Assurance and Financial Reporting Services Manager (; tel ext 122)

 Anjali began her career in public accounting in 1990 and obtained her Chartered Accountant designation in 1993. After four years with an international accounting firm, she moved into industry, working with a large high-tech firm serving in a variety of finance roles throughout her tenure including financial results and planning, total quality management, and systems implementation. Anjali joined the Logan Katz team in 2004 and has since worked in a broad range of areas including assurance, business advisory, corporate and personal taxation, litigation support and technical writing, spanning a variety of industries including not-for-profit, sector councils, high tech, and hospitality. In 2008, Anjali joined the Logan Katz management team where she added the role of Assurance and Financial Reporting Services Manager to her repertoire.
